Interested in telling your story, but not sure how to frame it? I'm here to help.
I am a photojournalist with a deep regional knowledge of Southeast Asia and an interest in the intersections between technology, politics, and the environment. Having graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in International Studies and worked and lived in four different countries, I am familiar with the cultural intricacies that come with promoting a brand or conveying a message to an international audience.
I have worked for both large digital media platforms (VICE Asia, VICE Indonesia, SCMP, China Dialogue) and independent publications (Voyage magazine, 823) in the U.S. and Indonesia. Subjects I have covered include plane crashes, illegal fishing, debt collection, tribal combat, and the use of blockchain in Indonesian agriculture.
Additionally, I have written for corporate and startup clients (ex: BRI Ventures, Flowcast, PermitIndo) mostly in the fintech sector. My work has ranged from technical whitepapers about digital microfinance to detailed blog posts covering foreign employment in Indonesia.
